How to design a presentation beautifully
They are soulless, dull and everyone is already bored with them. It is better to create something of your own. Especially since now you don’t have to have design skills to do this. There are a large number of programs and services that will do all the work for you (one of these services will be discussed at the very end of the article). Of course, you won’t become a professional designer just because of this. But you can easily create stylish pictures and presentations.
An email list is a group of email addresses, usually email list collected for marketing, communication, or promotional reasons. Companies use these lists to send newsletters, special offers, updates, and announcements to their subscribers or customers. Creating an email list usually means gathering addresses through sign-up forms, customer purchases, or other ways people agree to join.
Use a good color combination
One of the most common mistakes of people unfamiliar with modern web design trends is that they choose an extremely unsuccessful combination of colors: brown, dark blue, burgundy, mustard. If you use these colors together, and even with an unsuccessfully chosen font, it seems that the image came to us from the 90s. Nowadays, such colors are not used in web design. More precisely, they are used, but in combination with other, more pleasant and “clean” shades.
Use no more than 5 colors throughout the entire presentation.
Don’t turn your presentation into a rainbow, even if your report is about children. A large number of colors interferes with reading and perceiving the meaning of the slides. It is best to use no more than 2-3 colors on one slide, taking into account the main background color. In the entire presentation – no more than five. Some speakers try to fit almost their america cell phone number example entire speech into a presentation, and instead of speaking on their own and improvising, they read the text on the slides to the participants. The audience does not like this, it starts to get bored and loses the emotional connection with the speaker. To prevent this from happening, add a minimum of text to your slide and remember: the purpose of your slides is not to help the speaker remember the text, but to enhance the emotions from what you are telling the audience.
Maintain contrast between text and background
Here it’s simple: if the background is dark, use a light font. If it’s light, use a dark font. The text should be clearly legible on your slide, otherwise your audience will feel uncomfortable and instead of listening to you, they will spend their attention trying to figure out what you have written there. If your presentation includes bulleted or numbered lists, it’s best to split them into separate slides. This will help the information stick better because each point will be supported by a relevant image and a separate story.
Ditch the shadows, gradients and other old-fashioned effects
Try to keep up with the times and design usb directory your slides so that they are not perceived as a relic of the past. After all, the level of trust the audience has in you as a specialist will depend on how well you design your presentation. A good specialist is always developing and follows new trends. A bad one does not want to perceive anything new and believes that he has already fully established himself. Do you agree? Then strive for minimalism.
Where to find good fonts?
My favorite place to search and download the fonts I need is the VKontakte group .There is a search and a pretty convenient menu. Next to each font there is information about whether it can be used for commercial purposes or not. For example, the font in the screenshot below is completely free, as indicated by the inscription in brackets – free font.
How to Choose Fonts That Work Together
This article describes all possible combinations in very simple language. In fact, choosing fonts that go well together is not difficult. As I said at the very beginning of the article, you don’t need to have design skills or an artist’s vision to do this. You just need to understand the basic principles and follow them in your work.
Don’t make lines too wide, as it will be difficult for users to keep their attention on them. The ideal line width is about 70-100 characters. Use normal spacing between lines: not too much, but not too little. Make the spaces between paragraphs slightly larger than the spaces between lines. Use different formatting to make information easier to read: bulleted and numbered lists, bold, etc.
The text on the slide should not be too large or too small. Try to find a happy medium. And if you are going to show your presentation offline, make sure that the text is visible even to those people sitting in the very last rows.
